Sister: Interrupted

Sister: Interrupted is a Work-In-Progress mystery romance game. There may be triggering content later in the project's development; users are cautioned to read the trigger warnings. This game is set in the Mind Games universe. 

Your twin sister, Amelie, went missing two weeks ago. Two weeks is also what it took to get you back to your hometown, where she never left. Six years have passed since your last visit to town, and much has changed... the familiar faces are now awash in new, strange ones; new buildings have been placed in town as it slowly grows; and the forest, ever looming, has new dark secrets inside. The forest is where your sister was last seen. But it wasn't just her; no, several townsfolk have gone missing since January of this year, and it all ties back... to the forest. 

It's now October, and the missing have reached double digits, your sister included. Your visit home will introduce you to familiar and strange faces alike, and perhaps, unknown dangers that await you within the tree line... 

All hope is not lost, however; there are those who would aid you in your search for your twin, should you grow your friendships with them... and maybe something more. If you can find it in you to look for love at a time like this... or maybe it will simply look for you? If an Alpha is capable of finding love or receiving it, that is...

The Romances: 

Leah Yanneson, the town sheriff and a familiar face from your past.

• General Personality: Leah is a caring, calm person who cares deeply for her community. She is a little older than you and Amelie, and only in the last two years took over as Sheriff. She loves to read, crochet, and on occasion, bake. 

Ariel Somberal: Your childhood best friend

• Gender: Trans Woman
• Age: Early to Mid Twenties
• Romance Style: Open to Polyamory
• Eyes: Ocean blue
• Hair: Ginger, curly, goes to her waist.
• Height: 5'10
• General build: Chubby, with well-defined curves. 
• Style: Tends to wear bright colors, especially pinks and purples. Loves skirts and sweaters.
• General Personality: Ariel is quite bubbly and cheerful, and tends to brighten up the room when she enters it. She is a couple years younger than you and Amelie. She works at the museum, and in her off time, she tends to read, play video games, and likes to attempt to paint scenery. 

Alanna Curshaw: Baker's daughter who has taken over the business. 

• Species: Half-Huli jing
• Gender: Cis Woman
• Age: Early Twenties
• Romance Style: Monogamous
• Eyes: Amber
• Hair: Straight black, cut into a bob.
• Height: 5'4
• General build: A bit waifish. Quite small.
• Style: LOVES autumn clothing. Prefers to be in leggings or jeans and some type of sweater or sweatshirt.
• General Personality: She is quite shy, and very much a homebody. When she starts to open up, she is easily flustered and is super sweet. Her hobbies include baking, reading, and knitting. 

Darren Vactid: While only having been in town for two years, he has taken over as the main physician. 

• Species: Half-Fae
• Gender: Cis Man
• Age: ~100? Looks to be in his early Forties. 
• Romance Style: Monogamous
• Eyes: Deep green
• Hair: Black, curly, kept short but long enough to cover his pointed ears mostly.
• Height: 6'4
• General build: He is quite fit, and exercises regularly enough to build solid muscle.
• Style: Tends to wear smart casual style, a lot of button ups with sweaters or cardigans thrown over. 
• General Personality: Darren is a bit of an enigma. He tends to be very formal, and has little interests outside of work and research. However, if one were to catch him on his day off when he is highly stressed, you would find him reading medical or scientific books, gardening with his flowers at the back of his home, or spending time in the gym. 

Garus Rannick: Garus has also only been in town for approximately two years, but he works as a farmhand at Bradshaw's Farm and Ranch.

• Gender: Queer Man
• Age: Looks to be in his mid-twenties, is closer to 40. Faerals age real slow once they hit 20-30.    
• Romance Style: Open to Polyamory. 
• Eyes: Seafoam grey
• Hair: Long, auburn curls. They fall a little past his shoulders, and the sides are shaved. Shows off his pointed ears
• Height: 6'2
• General build: Quite muscular due to genetics and working the land.
• Style: He tends to wear stereotypical cowboy stuff, but also paints his nails and wears eyeliner on his nights at Fish Lips.
• General Personality: Very playful, teasing man. He enjoys flirting, but is rarely serious about it. He loves animals more than people... usually. He spends a lot of his free time horseback riding, woodworking, and playing video games.

David Granish: Town Deputy, he's only had the job for about a year. 

• Species: Newly turned Vampire (less than 10 years) 
• Gender: Cis Man
• Age: Maybe in his 40s? Looks early 30s. No longer aging.
• Romance Style: Open to Polyamory. 
• Eyes: Black
• Hair: Coiled and black, put into box braids.
• Height: 5'10
• General build: Has a lot of muscle, and some fat on his stomach and butt.
• Style: Outside of work, he tends to dress rather preppy or minimalist.
• General Personality: David tends to be quite outgoing and even the life of the party. He’s charming, witty, and has a smile of the devil. His hobbies include reading, gardening, and sometimes whittling.
